Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Micki Carver has earned her MSW from Fordham University and a bachelors in Sociology, Anthropology, Art History and Religion from Ohio Wesleyan University. Micki has practiced in a variety of settings from special education settings in Italy, to the prison system in Ohio, to substance use & co-occurring disorders in Bridgeport and has obtained specializations in personality disorders and trauma. Micki strives to provide a warm and inviting, sometimes humorous approach to therapy, identifying the client as the expert of themselves. She utilizes DBT, CBT, Schema and person centered approaches to best serve clients in achieving their goals. Micki always takes an exciting and eager approach to therapy. Outside of therapy, Micki has obtained certification in Reiki taking a holistic approach to treatment.
