My name is Susana Olivo, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I graduated with my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2023 from Fairfield University. I have trained and worked in a variety of settings: inpatient, outpatient, IOPs and private practice. In these spaces I’ve been able to develop my skills working with a variety of populations: individuals, couples and families. The issues we’ve tackled together include substance abuse, infidelity, divorce, blending families, grief, depression and anxiety. The therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is very important to me. I hope to create a non-judgmental space where you can be comfortable and feel as though you are able to safely express yourself. You are the expert of your own experiences and I hope to support you as you transform your thoughts and relationships. I am able to provide sessions in Spanish if desired. Just a little about me: I love baking and reading. I also really enjoy hot yoga; I try to attend it at least once a week, to ensure I’m giving my body and mind the care it needs. It’s important to me to take care of myself in order to best show up for my clients.
