Selena Soto is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Haven. Selena has experience working with the substance use population and individuals with co-occurring mental health diagnoses and has used CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing techniques and skills. Selena believes in meeting clients where they are at and creating a safe, open, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space. Selena approaches therapy with a creative lens and empathetic understanding that each client is different and that there is no one size fits all method or technique. She utilizes client strengths, passions, and interests in sessions and will work with clients to promote their personal growth and overall well being.
