Mary Robbins

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Mary Robbins, LCSW, is a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in private practice since 2003. Her empathetic, client-centered approach to mental health care utilizes a range of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Treatment. She specializes in treating anxiety in adults and children.

Her expertise is backed by advanced training at Yale Medical School’s Yale Child Study Center and a specialized Anxiety/Depression CBT course at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, completed in October 2016.

In addition to her private practice, Mary has contributed significantly as a mental health consultant for the State of Connecticut. Holding a Master of Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University, she is committed to fostering therapeutic environments that promote healing and growth.
