Marissa McKelvie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for early childhood intervention and family support. She specializes in trauma, attachment, behavioral concerns, and anxiety, working with children, families, and individuals to create lasting change. Certified in Child Parent Psychotherapy, Marissa uses play therapy with young children (0-7) and incorporates CBT, DBT, and mindfulness with older children, teens, and adults.
Marissa believes in the transformative power of early intervention and works collaboratively with families to strengthen dynamics and improve communication. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from UCONN and a master’s in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU).
