Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Lindsey Metcalfe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the mental health field for 20 years. She obtained her BS in psychology from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. She then went on to receive a master’s in social work from Quinnipiac University. After graduating, she worked as an emergency mobile psychiatric clinician to assist people in crisis in the greater New Haven Area. Lindsey’s most recent work has been as an outpatient clinician performing teletherapy to a wide range of clients. Lindsey utilizes a combination of DBT, solution and strengths-focused approaches to help each client recognize their inherent abilities. Lindsey believes in finding the right combination of therapies to best suit each individual client. She focuses on the importance of meeting the client where they are at. Lindsey encourages clients to embrace the power of gratitude and staying in the present moment.
