Laura Sanford is a Licensed Professional Counselor and LPCA Clinical Director. In both counseling and supervision, she uses a compassionate, relatable approach tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Laura enjoys working with young adult and adult clients experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, LGBTQ+ issues, anger, grief and loss, and interpersonal conflict. She also has training in treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Outside of SCS, Laura has experience as a part time adjunct instructor with counseling graduate students. Laura is passionate about using a trauma-informed, multiculturally appropriate approach; she is honored to meet you where you are at and journey with you through the process of change and healing.
