Kiersten Wamser is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who graduated with a MSW from Fordham University in 2016. Kiersten has worked closely with clients with Traumatic Brain Injuries, new parents, and the aging geriatric populations in an outpatient setting. Within these groups she has worked with people challenged by depression, anxiety, grief, anger, trauma and life changing situations. Kiersten focuses on a client centered approach based mainly in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, solutions-based therapy and Client Centered Therapy. She believes in an empathetic approach to therapy based on mutual respect to help identify each person’s strengths to move towards positive and lasting change.
