LPC, NCC Senior Director of Clinical Operations

Kerry is our Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Stokes Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Kerry supervises the clinical directors and serves in the role of consultant to our fully licensed clinicians. She handles the interviewing and onboarding processes for new team members and works closely with Dr. Stokes to maintain the overall management of the practice.

As a therapist, Kerry specializes in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders,and Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). She has extensive experience working with youth that present with high risk behaviors related to issues with depression and trauma. Kerry provides individual and family counseling, as well as parent coaching, by utilizing a relationally based therapy approach. She incorporates music, art, and play therapy into her work.

Kerry is an outgoing, compassionate, and caring individual who believes in helping people identify their strengths and build upon them. She works closely with community providers and is knowledgeable about the resources in the area.

Kerry is skilled in crisis intervention, foster care, and adoption.

Kerry is a member of the National Board for Certified Counselors.
