Karly Oliveira is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who enjoys working with adolescents, young adults and adults in individual sessions. She has worked with teens in an intensive outpatient program and is confident in her ability to provide compassion and support to her clients. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and strength-based approaches along with some expressive arts techniques. Karly’s goal as a counselor is to provide a space where you will feel safe, feel heard, and can be comfortable knowing that there is no judgement. She believes that all people, young and old, have the ability to change the things in their life that discourage them and be able to promote a positive self. She challenges clients to encourage positive self-talk and to embolden them to push through the negative images or ideations that can take control of our lives. Karly believes in a person’s ability to change and make progress in self-healing.
