Jazmin Johnson


Jazmin is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in healthcare specializing in medication management and psychoeducation. She received her master’s in nursing education from Western Governors University and her post-masters certificate as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from the University of Saint Joseph.
Jazmin worked in a variety of healthcare settings with various populations including pediatric, adult, psychiatric, underserved individuals, and persons with developmental disabilities. Jazmin also has experience in nursing education, value-based care, advocacy, health policy, public health, and health equity.
Jazmin utilizes a psychoanalytic approach combined with evidence-based practice and patient-centered therapeutic methods to help patients reach self-actualization.
When Jazmin is not practicing psychiatry, she enjoys cooking, traveling, learning about other cultures, and reading.
