Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

Jared is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Bridgeport. Jared comes to Stokes Counseling with a helping professional background and experience in criminal justice, mental health, substance abuse evaluation and treatment, and family work in the court system. Jared is trained in Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy among other modalities. These approaches will allow the individual to identify their own motivation and strengths to solve problems and create lasting solutions that will empower themselves for years. Jared’s strengths are his ability to empathize, his compassion and use of a strength-based approach. In his free time, Jared enjoys outdoor activities that include skiing, running and golf.
