James “Mick” Galvin is a Licensed Master Social Worker. Mick completed his Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College and acquired his undergraduate degree in Social Work and Sociology from Providence College. He has worked with youth in various settings, including outpatient and school programs. Mick’s most recent role provided individual and group therapy to athletes and active school-aged children through play therapy, TF-CBT, and DBT. He specializes in treating youth and adolescents who have anxiety and depression disorders, and those who have experienced trauma. Mick is a client-focused clinician who will work with the client and their family to determine specific interventions and modalities.
