Jacqùese Patterson

Licensed Master Social Worker

Jacqùese is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) and a Master’s level graduate of Clinical Social Work from Fordham University. Half of her clinical social work studies was at the University of Southern California (USC). She attended Quinnipiac University for undergraduate studies, majoring in Pre-law and English. Jacqùese has years of experience working with systems partners, such as the Department of Children & Families (DCF) to support with advancing the health and well-being of children, youth, and families within the state of Connecticut. Jacqùese has provided mentoring, training, and support to family members and youth for several years in different capacities by assuring that they have accurate, understandable, complete information, and the training necessary for meaningful participation in service system activities.

Jacqùese has been a volunteer serving on the Greater New Haven, Juvenile Review Board; supporting youth offenders of misdemeanors, who take responsibility for their actions, with supportive case management. Jacqùese also serves as the Director of Membership for the New Haven Club of the NANBPWC, Inc, a national organization whose mission is to promote and protect the interests of women business owners and professionals as well as to serve as a bridge for young people seeking to enter business and the professions. Through her practice in outpatient settings, Jacqùese has gained experience with depression, anxiety, addiction recovery, PTSD, and more, utilizing treatment modalities that include CBT, DBT, family therapy, group therapy, and anger management.

Jacqùese focuses on utilizing a strength-based approach in aiding families to develop their communication skills in efforts to improve their overall family unit.
