Haley Allan is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in the mental health field since 2011. She has experience counseling children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of settings, including day treatment, intensive outpatient, schools, and private practice. As a therapist, Haley utilizes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to support resilience and healthy communication. She has specialized in working with people experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, autism, ADHD and PTSD. Haley has enjoyed working with young people to support them in developing healthy coping skills related to their interpersonal and online environments. Her clinical internship was completed at SMYRC, the Sexual (and Gender) Minority Youth Resource Center in Portland, OR, providing experience in counseling LGBTQ+ youth and families. During sessions, Haley’s approach draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy skills, and structural family therapy. Haley is a musician and enjoys engaging people with creative arts-based techniques involving music, art, and play. She is trauma-informed and strives to show respect and cultural competence to all people she meets with.
