Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Elsie Alvarado is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Elsie’s experience varies from a therapeutic group home, outpatient services, intensive in-home services, public school school setting (special education program), and hospital crisis intervention.
Elsie is passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, mothers, families, and couples who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, conduct disorder, behavioral problems, self-injurious behavior, parenting, and family issues. Elsie uses a strength-based, client-centered approach and a variety of treatment modalities to facilitate the achievement of treatment goals. She engages families of diverse cultural backgrounds through her positive and empathetic manner and is skilled in crisis intervention, special education services, and positive behavioral intervention support. Elsie is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
