Chidinma Gubor is a ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Connecticut. Broadly-trained with a general neuropsychiatry, her framework of treatment is centered on the biopsychosocial model and a holistic perspective. Clinically trained to serve clients across demographics, her services include evaluating, diagnosing, and educating the client and family regarding mental health treatments/illnesses utilizing modern approaches. She specializes in psychopharmacological interventions to alleviate symptoms and behavioral management strategies to support stabilization. Chidinma prioritizes a collaborative clinical approach, with the firm belief that progress in managing mental health challenges can be achieved through mutual commitment of both client and provider. Through compassionate engagement and understanding, defined individualized treatment goals, careful selection of appropriate evidence-based treatment approaches and consistent monitoring and evaluation to measure progress towards positive changes. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Fairfield University, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Connecticut State University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing-Mu Chi Chapter. Her clinical experience has included work in inpatient dual-diagnosis and outpatient mental health.
