Meet Cassie Manger, LCSW. With a Master’s degree in Social Work and a specialization in children and families from the University of Saint Joseph, Cassie brings over a decade of unique and invaluable experience to her work. Her passion lies in assisting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, family conflict, and faith-based concerns. Cassie has been involved with supporting adults, children, and families over the past 10 years with mental health concerns, special needs (trauma, developmental, emotional, medical etc…) substance use disorders, and coping with the aftermath of trauma, by working through the stages of change, advocating, navigating, empowering, supporting, and strengthening resilience, interpersonal relationships, and coping skills. She excels in guiding individuals through life transitions, challenges connected with cultural diversity, and immigration-related issues. Particularly skilled in working with ages 16 and older, Cassie’s training and background in EMDR, MAASTRICHT Interview, Infant Mental Health, Family-Based Recovery (working with adults and families with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in individual, group, and in-home modalities and supporting attachment-based parenting through a trauma focused lens), and Grief and Loss allows her to offer comprehensive support to her clients. Utilizing various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, multicultural, and relationship-focused methods, Cassie ensures a personalized and effective therapeutic journey for each individual. Beyond her professional pursuits, Cassie enjoys indulging in crafts of all kinds and cherishes the company of dog (Max), cat (Sheldon), bearded dragon (Twenty-Three), and tortoise (Torterra). As an active participant in the American Rabbit Breeders Association, she selectively raises and shows Jersey Wooly rabbits, adding an extra dose of joy to her life. With her warm and empathetic approach, combined with her diverse expertise, Cassie utilizes goal-oriented, strength-based, trauma sensitive, culturally informed treatment to provide clients with the opportunity to develop a safe therapeutic relationship in which they can grow and heal.
