Amanda Byrne is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated from Southern Connecticut State university in 2009, and has been working in the mental health field ever since. Having worked in a variety of settings (Outpatient, MST, IOP) and certifications in TF-CBT, MATCH-ADTC, and Gestalt techniques, Amanda has been able to develop her skills working with equally varied populations around issues impacting individuals, couples, and families. These issues include divorce, grief and loss, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, delinquent & school related behaviors, and those who are involved with DCF and/or the court systems. Amanda has a passion for this work, and understands that every client’s needs are unique to them and all their experiences shape how they see the world. As a therapist, Amanda’s only goal is to help facilitate the experiences as they pertain to you and best benefit your family.
