Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Alexandra “Alex” Kitchener is Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Alexandra completed her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2016 from the University of Connecticut. Alexandra has worked with children and families doing individual and family therapy in home settings as well as a residential setting. Alexandra’s most recent role is as a school social worker in CT working with students with significant mental health needs in a therapeutic program. Alexandra specializes in treating children and teenagers who have anxiety, mood disorders and who have experienced trauma. Alexandra is trained in TF-CBT, ARC, and is Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level I. Alexandra believes that it is best to meet children, teens and families where they are and strives to work with clients to find what treatment modality will best meet their needs.
