Aida Adams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Aida has worked with youth and families for over 12 years. She has worked in residential settings, detention centers and also as an in-home family clinician utilizing the Multidimensional Family Therapy model. She also has experience helping families through relationship and parenting conflict. She has worked with clients from various racial, ethnic and gender backgrounds. She has experience working with at risk youth in the Juvenile Justice System who suffer from depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma and emotional and behavioral disturbances. Aida has training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Aida’s approach in therapy is very warm and interactive. She believes in treating everyone with respect and meeting you where you are at. Aida strives to help her clients identify their own strengths and empower them to advocate for themselves. Aida speaks Spanish and will only be providing Online Counseling sessions.
